Meet The Axiom Fitness Coaches

Nish Noutfia

Nish is co-owner and a head trainer at Axiom Fitness. With over a decade of training experience, she has an exceptionally diverse and experienced background in fitness and health.

Nish worked previously as an EMT, and holds NASM-CPT1, NASM-CES, and APEX-CPT1 certifications, and is a BLS instructor, Nish became a personal trainer in 2005 and quickly turned to Crossfit in 2007.

Nish holds certifications in Crossfit Level 1, Crossfit Gymnastics 1, and Paleo/ Zone Diet.

Josh DeCiccio

Josh’s has extensive experience with CrossFit, having started with it in 2005.

Josh has certifications in AFAA Personal Training, CrossFit Level 1, and Crossfit Paleo and Zone Diet.

Josh has competed at the 2009 Crossfit games on an affiliate team and competed individually at the 2011 Crossfit Regionals. He was named the 2010-2013 CrossFit Regional Athlete for Southern California, a USAPL 2013 State Champion, a Strong Man Silver Medial Recipient, and he placed second in the 2012 OC Throw Down competition.

Bethany Scamara

Bethany has been in competitive swimming since five years old and began club water polo at age twelve. She has worked as a lifeguard and water safety instructor for over twelves years for the city of Fontana.

She has taught lifeguard instructor courses, aqua aerobics, and aqua boot camp, and earned a division 1 dual sports athlete title in water polo and swimming, and earned multiple varsity N holder titles, as well as an Academic-All American title where she earned her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology.

Bethany is a high school swim coach and holds a CrossFit Level 1 certification.

Vaughn Brotton
Vaughn is a co-owner and a head trainer at Axiom Fitness. Vaughn was introduced to CrossFit by his sister Melissa, his the owner CrossFit Newport Beach in Southern California. All it took was a couple of sublimely devastating CrossFit workouts, and Vaughn was hooked!

A holder of certifications spanning the exercise spectrum he is a walking (and running!) encyclopedia of fitness; CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Gymnastics Trainer, CrossFit Endurance Trainer, CrossFit Strongman Trainer, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, USA Weightlifting.

Vaughn served his country with distinction in the United States Marine Corp as a scout.
Rai Amey
Rai is a speed strength training specialist. During 2003 thru 2005, he ran track in the top 10 collegiate level in California, in the 100 and 200m. Rai has trained under notable athletes such as Josh Everett, Steve Kenyon, Mike Burgener, and Dan Bunz.

Rai is certified under USAW Level 2 and CSCS, and holds a BA in English from UC Riverside, AA in Physical education, USA Olympic Weightlifting Level 1, and was a 2010 Crossfit regional judge!
Tre Lee
Tre is a former Division 1 Athlete at the University of Riverside California with a BS in Business Administration.

After the conclusion of his collegiate career, Tre promoted to the professional level where he played four years at the MLS and USL level throughout the country. In 2010, Tre was inducted into the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame.

Tre is a NESTA, and NIKE SPARQ certified personal trainer with over ten years of Crossfit training experience. Tre specializes in speed, agility, and plyometric training.
Will Nivens
Will started his journey as an athlete/adventurer, who has participated in a multitude of sports and diet lifestyles. Having wrestled through his collegiate years, Will naturally transitioned to Mixed Martial Arts, where a safe and effective approach to diet was paramount. Needing a solid understanding of what and how to eat, coupled with an insatiable hunger for knowledge, Will set on a lifelong career and passion for Wellness. For the past 13 years, and through practical means, Will has developed a no-frills, fad-free, zero-gimmick approach to successful eating habits. Using a set of foundational nutrition principles, Will creates easy to follow, personalized programs for clients of all ages and backgrounds. Coupled with this, Will has led group exercise classes for the past seven years, forming a bond between fitness and nutrition.
